Agra is a Mecca of mughal art and architecture with: "Taj Mahal", bright mausoleum of white marble inlaid with semi-precious stones, built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal and considered the eighth wonder of the world, the most famous monument from all over India. Red Fort, whose high walls of red sandstone dominate the river Yamuna, marks the birth of the imperial Mughal style.
Drive to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri. Stop to visit the site. Location of the most remarkable piece of mughal art and architecture, Fatehpur Sikri was the capital of Emperor Akbar, built in 1571. The imperial city contains buildings of pink sandstone with the most varied architectural forms: palaces, pavilions, courtyards and ponds. Continue to Jaipur. Check-in at your hotel.

The majestic Amber Fort, the capital of former Rajput empire, is located 8 km from Jaipur. We climb to the top at the centre of Amber fort by elephant. The rooms of the palace and a small temple dedicated to Goddess Kali are situated around a pleasant mughal style garden. Back in town and visit the city.
Jaipur also known as the "Pink City", built in the sixteenth century, is one of the most colorful and picturesque cities in India with: "City Palace, the Maharaja's palace famous for its weapons and its fine collection of costumes The "Jantar Mantar", amazing observatory built by a prince called Jai Singh who was passionate about astronomy, the "Hawa Mahal" Palace of Winds, arguably the most famous landmark of Jaipur, architectural fantasy, a huge Baroque facade of pink sandstone.

In this charming village on the edge of a lake, the Deogarh Mahal, palace of the seventeenth century, was restored with taste. Some of the rooms are decorated with ancient frescoes and has a Sheesh Mahal or a mirror palace. The chhattris (cenotaphs) along the lake and bustling bazaars are a pleasant sight.

White City, nicknamed "the Pearl of Rajasthan, Udaipur is adorned with three romantic lakes. The City Palace, built on a hill overlooking Lake Pichola, Fateh Prakash Palace and the Crystal gallery will make you feel as if you are in a dreamland. Go for a stroll in the old city and visit the Jagdish Temple and on a hill, the beautiful garden called Sahelion Ki Bari.

The Elephanta Island is off Mumbai. This is a site famous for its cave temples carved with large rooms. In this mecca of spirituality, one can admire the powerful representations of the god Shiva in several forms and above all an extraordinary statue emerging from the rock, which shows a three-headed Shiva, symbolizing the three functions of God: Creation, Preservation & Destruction.
