Delhi is the capital of the Indian union with Old Delhi and New Delhi, united into a single agglomeration. New Delhi, aristocratic residential city with beautiful gardens and big parks the "India Gate, a triumphal arch," Connaught Place "and Jan Path, a major commercial artery, Humayun's Tomb, the majestic tomb of the Emperor Humayun and "Qutab Minar, the famous 73 m high minaret.
Later in the afternoon ,drive to the Shekhawati region and visit the Havelis and frescoes on the way. Arrival and check-in at your hotel (optional-heritage hotel)
The Shekhawati region of Rajasthan is nicknamed "The Open Art Gallery of Rajasthan". The villages of Shekhawati are surrounded by sand dunes, we visit the havelis, old houses of wealthy merchants who were once part of the silk route trade between India and Pakistan. The inside walls of these houses have beautiful fresco paintings depicting the events of daily life in those days. The cities most famous for frescoes are: Mandawa, Dundlod, Jhunjhunu, Fatehpur, Nawalgarh etc.. Night at your hotel.
Visit Bikaner. Surrounded by the Thar desert, Bikaner still inhabited by its heroic past, with: its maze of medieval streets, its lively bazaar and the lavish palace of the Maharajah of Bikaner, which is located within an impressive castle, the Junagarh Fort, which contains a fine collection of weapons. Later, you can visit the camel farm on the outskirts of the city. Overnight at hotel.
Drive to Jaisalmer. Arrive and check-in at your hotel. Day free at leisure or you can enjoy the sunset from the Royal Cenotaphs. Overnight at hotel.
Located in the Thar desert, one of the oldest fortress of Rajasthan in Jaisalmer, is impressive with its massive walls and 99 bastions. It still bears witness to its former glory with magnificent stone carved havelis of the former merchants.. In the citadel, we visit the Fort with the palace, "Gaj Mahal", and a fine collection of beautifully carved Jain temples, built in the fifteenth century. We also visited the decorative chhattri (cenotaphs) of the rulers of Jaisalmer. Overnight at hotel.
The "Blue City" is dominated by the Mehrangarh Fort, with its Harem, the sumptuous reception room,the curious little palace of mirrors and the room with the royal palanquin "howdah" in silver. One must take a stroll in the bazaar around the Clock Tower, , where we find various artisans and merchants of all kinds. The shops in the market overflow with sari fabrics, spices, grains, fruits and vegetables. Overnight at hotel.
Located at the foot of Mount Aravalli is this jain site having great religious fervor, remarkable for the complexity of the architecture of its temples carved in white marble of exceptional quality. The Temple of Adinath, large sanctuary, is a series of domes , shikaras and a maze of halls and of course with its 420 marble pillars with wonderful patterns just leaves us spellbound.. Continue to Udaipur. Check-in at your hotel.

Udaipur : White City, nicknamed "the Pearl of Rajasthan, Udaipur is adorned with three romantic lakes. The City Palace, built on a hill overlooking Lake Pichola is the one of the largest palaces of Rajasthan. Inside, one can witness immense maze of halls, rooms decorated with mirrors, terraces and courtyards. In the old town,visit the Jagdish Temple and the beautiful royal garden `Sahelion Ki Bari`. The small town of Kishangarh was founded in the seventeenth century by Kishan Singh. The old part of Kishangarh retains its brilliant past with a beautiful palace which was refurbished into a hotel the Phool Mahal Palace, located on the shores of the lake. Walking through the quiet streets of Kishangarh lined with beautiful old homes is very interesting. The tradition of miniature painting started in the XVIIIth century continues in the city of Kishangarh even now.

"Pink City", built in the sixteenth century, Jaipur is one of the most colourful & picturesque cities of India. We visit the "City Palace, the Maharaja's palace famous for its weapons and its fine collection of costumes The "Jantar Mantar", amazing observatory built by a prince who was an astronomy enthusiast, the "Hawa Mahal" Palace of Winds, probably the most famous landmark of Jaipur, and an architectural fantasy is a huge Baroque facade of pink sandstone. And of course, you must visit the colourful and lively bazaars of Jaipur.

Agra is one of the most important places of Mughal art and architecture . "Taj Mahal", luminous white marble mausoleum encrusted with semi-precious stones, built by the emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal and considered as the eighth wonder of the world, and the most famous monument of all India, the Red Fort whose high pink sandstone walls dominate the Yamuna river which marks the birth of the imperial mughal style and the mausoleum "Itimad-Ud-Daulah", set up by the poetess wife of Jahangir, is remarkable for its architecture. Drive to Delhi. Arrive in Delhi. Transfer to the international airport late in the evening.

Transfer to station for train to Jhansi. Arrive at Jhansi station and transfer to Orchha. Lunch at Orchha and then we visit the two charming palaces of the kings of Orchha, and Jahangir. Later leave for Khajuraho, Arrive and check-in at your hotel. Overnight at Khajuraho.
The temples are located at the site of the ancient capital of the Chandela. Dynasty. Between 950 and 1030, many temples were built, and thirty of them have been preserved. The temples of Khajuraho are the finest collection of medieval temples of Central India. A multitude of statues depicting the Hindu pantheon, graceful female figures as well as amorous couples abound on the facades. These temples are also, famous for their erotic sculptures.
Later transfer to the Khajuraho airport for a flight to Varanasi. Arrive in Varanasi, we drive straight to Buddhist site. Sarnath, was the cradle of Buddhist teaching. It is here that Buddha came to "put in motion the Wheel of Law". We visit an interesting museum which houses a collection of objects from the Ashoka Empire. Overnight at the hotel.
Wake up early morning (around 4am). After a cup of coffee or tea, leave for the ghats. Enjoy a boat ride on the Ganges. You will winess the daily morning rituals of the pilgrims, sadhus (holy men) and people of Varanasi who come to the ghats of the Ganges, a place of purification where Hindus perform their ablutions. You can watch in the the distance the rites of cremation.
Later we go back to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, we visit the city of Benares, the holy city at the heart of the Hindu spiritual life, the city's mosques, the Jaisingh observatory, the temple of Vishwanath most important shrine of Benares Dedicated to Shiva, Bharatamata temple, the temple of Durga (or Kali) terrible form of the goddess Parvati. After lunch, transfer to Varanasi airport and flight to Delhi. Arrive in Delhi. Overnight at the hotel.
Morning visit the city. Delhi is the capital of the Indian union, but it was already the capital since 1060, when the Rajput clan Tomara chose to establish his government. Similarly the Afghan, tugalak, Mughal dynasties and finally the English have also chosen as its capital. Previously, the city was called Indraprastha and its origin is lost in the Vedic times.
We visit in Old Delhi, Jama Masjid, an immense mosque, the largest in India, the Raj ghatt where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated, Chandni Chowk with the grand Bazaar. Later we can visit the red fort, the Mecca of Mughal splendor with its kiosks, lobbies, and the Moti Masjid (mosque of the pearl).
In the afternoon, we visit New Delhi, the Indian Parliament (Sansad Bhavan) and the tomb of Humayun. Outside the city we will visit the complex of Qutar Minar Later a farewell dinner at an Indian Tandoori restaurant. Transfer to the international airport late in the evening to board a flight back home.
